[Branch & Blossom Guide | Summer] Lilac
Hello everyone,
With our "Branch Regular Delivery" service, our professionals select and deliver the best branches available, depending on the weather and purchasing conditions at the time.
The branch we're introducing this time is 'Lilac'.

A deciduous shrub of the olive family, genus Syringa. Native to southern Europe.
While "Lilac" is its English name, it's also known as "Lila" in French and "Murasaki Hashidoi" (紫丁香花) in Japanese.

Because of how its small flowers cluster together, its flower meanings include "friendship" and "memories."
Its gentle light purple is a classic, but there are also delicate white and lovely pink varieties, each with different flower meanings.
Its soft, delicate fragrance is another reason for its popularity.

Fresh green branches tend to wilt easily and gradually become less able to absorb water over time.
With each water change, make a fresh cut at the stem and create a cross-shaped incision with scissors.
"Yubage" (placing the stem in hot water) is also effective when water absorption is difficult. Please be careful not to burn yourself.
