[Branch Guide | Winter] Chinese Tallow
Hello everyone,
SiKiTO's "Branch Subscription" delivers the best branches selected by professionals, depending on the weather and procurement situation at the time.
The branch we're introducing this time is "Nankinhaze" (Chinese Tallow Tree).

It is a deciduous tall tree of the genus Triadica in the family Euphorbiaceae, native to China.
Its beautiful autumn foliage and white winter berries make it a popular choice for street trees and park trees.

Its fruits ripen around autumn, eventually covered by a dark brown husk (seed coat).
As winter arrives, the husk splits open, revealing three white seeds that pop out like popcorn.
White in winter reminds one of snow. Its chic and adorable appearance is endlessly captivating.

The fruits and seeds remain on the branches for a long time, so their long-lasting enjoyment is also appealing.
