[Branch Flower Encyclopedia | Spring] Chinese Redbud
Hello everyone,
SiKiTO's "Branch Regular Delivery" service provides you with the best branches, selected by professionals according to the weather and stock availability at the time.
The branch we are introducing this time is the Chinese Redbud (Hanasuō).

This is a deciduous small tree belonging to the subfamily Cercidoideae of the Fabaceae family. Its origin is China.
It is called Hanasuō because its reddish-purple flower color resembles the dye obtained from the suō tree.
One of its flower meanings, "awakening," may have been derived from the vividness of its flower color.

Its straight branches are easy to display, and if it adapts well to its environment, lovely heart-shaped leaves will unfurl after the flowers.
Careful maintenance and environment are also important to enjoy the flowers for a long time.

Branches in the fresh green season tend to lose water quickly, so change the water frequently, re-cut the stems, and display them in a cool, well-ventilated place.
