1. Who We Are

This survey is conducted by Trinus, Inc., a company registered in Japan. We operate the SiKiTO brand and its product line, including the EDA VASE flower vase.

2. Purpose of This Survey

We are conducting this online survey to better understand potential customer interest in EDA VASE in the UK and EU. This is a market research exercise only. We are not currently selling EDA VASE in the UK or EU.

As part of this research, you will first be asked to view a product introduction page for EDA VASE (hosted on our Shopify storefront) before completing this survey (hosted on Google Forms). Your responses will help us understand purchasing interest, product impressions, price expectations, and intended use cases.

3. What Information We Collect

Through this survey, we collect the following information:

• Your survey responses regarding EDA VASE — for example, your branch-arranging habits, where you usually obtain branches, the aspects of the product that appeal to you, your purchasing interest, your price expectations, and your intended use

• Any information you choose to include in the optional free-text comment field

You do not need to provide your name, contact details, or email address to complete this survey.

Separately, and only if you choose to, you may register your email address through the sign-up form on our product page (see Section 5). Email registration is independent of this survey.

We may collect additional information in future surveys (for example, demographic information such as age group or region of residence). Any such information will be optional and will be explained to you at the point it is collected.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on your consent as the legal basis for collecting and using your personal data in this survey. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at contact@sikito.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

5. Email Address — Purpose and Use

Providing your email address is entirely optional, and it is collected separately from this survey through the sign-up form on our product page. If you choose to provide it, we will use it for the following purposes:

• To send you updates about EDA VASE ahead of its official launch, including pre-launch announcements and advance notice of product availability

• To send you information about the official launch and ongoing communications after launch

Your email address will be stored in Shopify and may be transferred to Klaviyo, our email marketing platform, for the purpose of sending these communications.

You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at contact@sikito.com.

Please note: providing your email address and participating in this survey are separate actions. You may complete the survey without providing your email address.

6. How We Use Your Survey Responses

We will use the information you provide to:

• Analyse market interest in EDA VASE in the UK and EU

• Understand product perceptions, pricing expectations, and potential use cases

• Inform future product and business decisions regarding potential international expansion

Survey results may be shared internally or used for business planning purposes in anonymised, aggregated form only. No personally identifiable information will be shared with third parties.

7. Third-Party Services and Sharing

This survey is delivered through Google Forms (Google LLC, USA). Your responses will be stored on Google's servers. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by data processing terms in compliance with applicable data protection law. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

The product introduction page you view prior to this survey is hosted on Shopify Inc. (Canada/USA). Shopify may collect technical data such as your IP address and browsing data in accordance with our cookie policy when you access the storefront. Cookie consent on that page is managed by Pandectes GDPR/APPI Compliance (Pandectes, Estonia).

The product introduction page may also use analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel. These technologies are activated only after you have given your consent, and they may collect technical information about your visit, such as page views, device information, and interactions with the page.

Where the Meta Pixel is used, event data is sent to Meta Platforms, Inc. For the collection and transmission of that data, we and Meta may act as joint controllers to the extent required under applicable data protection laws, and Meta may process the data for its own purposes in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable terms. If you provide your email address, it will be stored in Shopify and transferred to Klaviyo, Inc. (USA) for email communications. Klaviyo participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

8. International Transfer of Data

Your personal data will be transferred to and stored in Japan, where our company is based. Japan has been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. For UK residents, data transfers to Japan are also subject to the UK adequacy framework.

Transfers to service providers outside the UK/EEA, including the USA (Google, Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta), are made on the basis of applicable adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms, where applicable.

9. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Survey responses: retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection, after which they will be securely deleted or anonymised.

• Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, whichever is earlier. After you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal suppression record where necessary to ensure that we do not send further marketing emails to you.

• In all cases, data will not be retained beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this Notice.

10. Your Rights

If you are located in the UK or EU, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: you can ask us what personal data we hold about you

• Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data

• Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your personal data

• Right to restrict processing: you can ask us to limit how we use your data

• Right to data portability: you can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format

• Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data

• Right to withdraw consent: you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

This survey is intended for individuals aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please do not complete this survey.
