Baggage drop-off terms and conditions

“Leave at door” delivery is a delivery method where the delivery person does not hand over the product directly to the customer in person, but rather delivers the product non-face-to-face to a location pre-designated by the customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Leave at Door Designated Location”). If the customer wishes to use leave at door delivery, it is assumed that they have agreed to the following terms in advance.

Article 1 Scope of Responsibility

If leave at door delivery is requested, regardless of whether the customer is home or not, delivery will be completed once the product is placed at the Leave at Door Designated Location, and the Company will have fulfilled its obligation to deliver the product to the customer. The Company shall not be responsible for any damages resulting from loss, theft, defacement, damage, or leakage of information stated on labels, etc., after delivery to the Leave at Door Designated Location has been completed.

*Please choose a Leave at Door Designated Location that is, as much as possible, not exposed to direct sunlight or wind and rain. Otherwise, product quality may deteriorate or become soiled. Additionally, to reduce the risk of theft or information leakage, it is recommended to choose a Leave at Door Designated Location that is not easily visible to others. Please retrieve the product as soon as possible after delivery is completed.

Article 2 Entry onto Premises

If leave at door delivery is requested, it is assumed that you have agreed to allow the delivery person to enter the premises of your residence, garage, or common areas of condominiums, etc., and to place the product at the Leave at Door Designated Location.

Article 3 Confirmation of Rules, etc., in Condominiums, etc.

If the delivery address is a condominium or similar multi-unit dwelling, please confirm in advance the rules and regulations regarding leave at door delivery established by the management association, etc., and designate the Leave at Door Designated Location in accordance with those rules and regulations. The Company shall not be responsible for any troubles or damages related to violations of such rules and regulations.

Article 4 Photo Taking

If leave at door delivery is requested, the delivery person may take photos of the product and the Leave at Door Designated Location upon completion of delivery to manage the condition of the product and the delivery status at the time of completion.

Article 5 Gift Products, etc.

In cases where leave at door delivery is requested for gift products, etc., where the purchaser and the recipient are different, the purchaser shall obtain the recipient's agreement to the necessary terms of these regulations and use the service at the purchaser's own responsibility.

Article 6 Cases Where Delivery to the Leave at Door Designated Location is Not Possible

Even if leave at door delivery is requested, in the following cases, leave at door delivery may not be performed, and the product may be delivered in person, or if the recipient is absent, the product may be taken back.

  • When the delivery person cannot identify the Leave at Door Designated Location (e.g., the delivery person cannot find the designated location)

  • When it is not possible to determine if the delivery address is correct

  • When the product cannot be placed at the designated location (e.g., the product is too large to fit in a delivery locker, or there are no available delivery lockers)

  • When the delivery person determines that entry to the Leave at Door Designated Location is not possible or difficult (e.g., due to an automatic lock or a locked gate)

  • When there are errors or deficiencies in the address or Leave at Door Designated Location information entered by the customer

  • When entry or receipt of the product is refused by a building receptionist or manager

  • Other cases where the delivery person reasonably determines that leave at door delivery is impossible or difficult

Article 7 Differences in Delivery Methods by Delivery Company

Even if leave at door delivery is requested, delivery methods may vary depending on the delivery company, such as ringing the intercom upon delivery. Please note that you cannot specify the delivery company.

*If you specify a delivery locker as your Leave at Door Designated Location, we may deliver it earlier than the specified time.
