Concentrated fruitiness and a delicate, lingering taste

The pale, sparkling lemon-yellow hue exudes refreshing aromas of citrus, apple, and ripe white peach.
Upon tasting, a concentrated fruitiness spreads, followed by a harmonious blend of pleasant acidity and a hint of bitterness, creating a profound flavor.
This wine, with its balanced fusion of rich fruitiness and freshness, pairs well not only with Japanese cuisine such as sashimi but also with Italian appetizers.
"Koshu," a Japanese wine loved worldwide

Koshu is a white grape variety indigenous to Japan, believed to have been discovered about 800 years ago.
Since its establishment, Grace Wine has focused on grape cultivation, and only Koshu grown at altitudes of 400m or higher is used for Grace Koshu.
In 2010, Koshu was registered with the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) as an indigenous Japanese variety for the first time, allowing its varietal name to be stated on exports to EU countries, thus increasing its international recognition.
A winery that continues to lead the evolution of Japanese wine

Yamanashi Prefecture is the birthplace of Japanese wine and its central hub, boasting the highest production volume.
Katsunuma-cho in Koshu City, where Grace Wine is located, is characterized by top-level sunshine hours and well-drained soil, cultivating high-quality, concentrated grapes.
The winery has succeeded in bringing out the clean taste and umami of Koshu without the chaptalization or acidification that was once common practice, leading the establishment of "Japanese wine" that can be enjoyed with meals, making it a top winery.

In 2008, Ayana Misawa, the eldest daughter of the fourth-generation owner, Mr. Shigekazu, took over as the head of viticulture and winemaking.
After extensive training at seven wineries in five different countries, in 2014, her "Cuvee Misawa Akeno Koshu 2013" became the first Japanese wine to win a Gold Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, the world's largest wine competition! It continued to win Gold Medals for six consecutive years thereafter.

This achievement undoubtedly boosted the global recognition of Koshu, as well as Japanese wine as a whole.
The masterpiece from this winery, which spares no effort in meticulous handwork from grape harvesting to cultivation and winemaking, will add a touch of elegance to your dining table.
