Hana Iroenpitsu (flower colored pencils) represent the shapes and colors of Japan's most iconic traditional flowers: cherry blossoms, red plum blossoms, dandelions, evergreens, and balloon flowers. A unique feature of these pencils is that their shavings resemble real flower petals.

No strong force is required for sharpening. If you push the pencil in slightly while sharpening, the shavings will connect more easily.

Even a 2nd-grade elementary school student was able to create beautiful petal shavings! The shavings can be used to decorate letters or affixed to album pages, which is a lovely idea.

Made with high-quality Japanese color lead, they offer a smooth and soft writing experience. When using a commercial pencil sharpener, please make sure it's for "thick pencils."

Numerous features, thanks to a new paper-based material

The flower-shaped barrel, which is very unusual for a colored pencil, is made from MAPKA, a new material primarily composed of paper.

Complex shapes are difficult to achieve with traditional wood processing used for pencils, so MAPKA's "extrusion molding" is employed. The development period for this process was approximately two years!

The gentle, muted colors are also due to the paper-based material. Furthermore, the unevenness of the flower shape and the matte texture prevent hands from slipping, which is an added benefit.

The shavings can be disposed of as regular combustible waste.

The polygonal cylindrical package, where five cross-sections are visible from the bottom, is inspired by "Omikuji boxes" (fortune-telling boxes).
