Based on the stout[*] style, "Kurikuro Dark Chestnut Ale" is a craft beer made with chestnut paste from Miyazaki Prefecture as an auxiliary ingredient.
[*]Stout means "strong" in English. It generally refers to dark-colored, strongly flavored beers, often called "black beer."
By using roasted barley (barley roasted at extremely high temperatures) and chestnut paste as brewing ingredients, it achieves a coffee-like aroma and an elegant, rich flavor reminiscent of roasted sweet chestnuts.
Its unique flavor, like biting into autumn itself, continues to be highly acclaimed worldwide.

Kurikuro has a relatively high alcohol content for a beer, at 9%. This allows for bottle aging ranging from several months to several years. There is also no expiration date.
By storing it in a dark place in the bottle, the aroma, umami, and alcohol content will blend well throughout the beer, transforming it into a profound and mellow flavor. The brewery recommends aging for at least 5 months from the production date.
Try comparing it with the younger taste before aging.
Pour into a wine glass and slowly sip
A wide-mouthed wine glass is perfect for enjoying Kurikuro's rich aroma. The ideal drinking temperature is also a bit higher, between 10-18℃, so take your time and savor it.
This is a beer where each sip might reveal a different character depending on the aging period and temperature.
