〈Mimosa〉A mellow and vibrant scent like a sunny spot

The scene of vibrant yellow mimosa flowers swaying in the spring breeze. This bright and cheerful fragrance was created to evoke such a warm spring day.

It is luxuriously blended with an extract obtained from fresh mimosas, purchased from the market, including not only the flowers but also the branches and leaves, resulting in a fresh and sweet fragrance.

Mimosa flowers bloom in early spring with small yellow pom-poms. In some countries and regions, they symbolize gratitude and friendship and are popular as gifts.

It might also be a perfect gift for that special someone who suits springtime.

〈Fig & Japanese Mint〉Cool comfort for humid seasons

The aromas chosen to evoke summer are fig and Japanese mint.

Figs, in season from August to September, have a sweetness that includes a green, leafy scent, providing a comfortable coolness even during Japan's humid summers [*].

Globally, they are particularly popular along the Mediterranean coast, adding a touch of summer vacation nuance.

Japanese mint, officially known as "Nihon Hakka," is a native Japanese herb. It contains more menthol than European peppermint, giving it a strong refreshing sensation [*].

〈Cedarwood〉A spicy, clear scent like a forest

The cedarwood aroma is inspired by an autumn forest bath. It creates a warm scent that matches the chilly season.

Cedarwood is a general term for conifers, and among the many varieties, we use "Cedarwood Virginia," which is characterized by its deep aroma.

Its calm, smoky aroma, typical of the cypress family, is perfect for everyday use.

Layered with cedarwood is the scent of frankincense, a harmonious blend of sweetness and spice.

Frankincense essential oil, extracted from resin collected from wild trees in the Middle East and Northeast Africa, has long been cherished as a scent to soothe the mind and body.

Also known as olibanum, it has a long history as an incense ingredient.

〈Kuromoji〉A crisp, clear, and dignified fragrance

The scent of Kuromoji is clear and crisp, like the morning dew in a forest. Often called Japanese rosewood, its charm lies in its elegant and refined impression, with a mellow sweetness hidden beneath its refreshing notes. It offers a refreshing sensation reminiscent of a forest bath, yet evokes a nostalgic feeling.

Kuromoji is a plant of the laurel family that grows in forests throughout Japan and has long been used as fragrant wood and for wagashi toothpicks. Its name comes from the black spots on its bark, which resemble letters.

Its appeal lies in its elegant and clean scent, with a mellow sweetness hidden beneath its refreshing notes. While offering a refreshing sensation reminiscent of a forest bath, it also evokes a nostalgic feeling, a scent that resonates with the Japanese heart.

Layered with Kuromoji is yuzu, a citrus fruit representing Japanese winter. Yuzu essential oil adds a bright and lively impression, adding lightness to Kuromoji's calming scent.

Generally, many soaps made with aromatic distilled water tend not to lather well, but SiKiTO HAND WASH is specially formulated for fine, rich lather. Its smooth texture also rinses off easily.

To combat dryness caused by air conditioning throughout the year, we've included three types of ceramides as moisturizing ingredients. Additionally, natural oils [*] are added to provide a moist finish and lasting hydration.

Design incorporating subtle Japanese elements

To ensure a pleasant presence in the washroom, we chose a bluish-gray color for the bottle.

By keeping the label area small, it offers transparency while making the remaining amount clear at a glance. Its low center of gravity design prevents it from tipping over even when pumping with one hand.

The band color on the label is a traditional Japanese color chosen for each season.

For example, the color of 〈Fig & Japanese Mint〉, inspired by summer, is "Sabi Seiji," which evokes the tranquility of plants and the coolness of water. It has been favored for summer kimonos and obis as an elegant color that visually conveys coolness.

This design not only blends into modern life but also incorporates the aesthetic sensibility of our ancestors, who enjoyed the four seasons with all five senses.

"Itsuki Manbai" craftsmanship that maximizes the power of plants

SiKiTO HAND WASH is manufactured by "Itsuki Manbai," a cosmetics maker located in Iijima Town, Nagano Prefecture.

Surrounded by the rich nature of Shinshu, their proprietary farm has acquired organic JAS certification. They produce skincare products using aromatic distilled water and plant extracts from the plants they cultivate.

The diverse range of plants they cultivate, and their dedication to each plant and fragrance in constant pursuit of improvement, along with their passion for trial and error to achieve our ideal fragrance and feel, were the decisive factors in our decision to partner with them for this manufacturing offer.
