Utilizing a new material primarily made from paper

The unique flower shape of the colored pencil's cross-section is made from a new material called "MAPKA," which is primarily composed of paper.

The delicate and complex shape is difficult to achieve with traditional wood processing for pencils. Instead, it is manufactured using "injection molding," where heated MAPKA is pressed into a mold. The development period for this was approximately two years!

The gentle, pale colors are also a unique characteristic of MAPKA, which is derived from recycled paper. Furthermore, the unevenness of the snowflake shape and the matte texture provide the advantage of being non-slip.

The shavings can be disposed of as ordinary combustible waste.
