[In-house branch cultivation] In-house branch cultivation also starts in Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture! | March 2025

Following Toyooka Village in Nagano Prefecture, a branch production area development initiative has also begun in Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture!

Yukio Hida, who will be dispatched to the local area as a Regional Revitalization Cooperator from April, is an industry veteran who has worked at a flower market in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, for 18 years, and he is taking on this challenge with exceptional passion for cultivating branches.

Nakanojo Town is located in the northwestern part of Gunma Prefecture, a naturally rich area surrounded by mountains.

Within the town, there is also a group of five farmers called "Nakamura Flower Cooperative" that cultivates various types of branches, including cherry blossoms and forsythia. Mr. Hida plans to apprentice with this cooperative to learn agriculture while also developing his own fields.

Hello. I arrived in Nakanojo Town in February 2025 as a Regional Revitalization Cooperator. Previously, I worked as a wholesale florist.

In the few months before my arrival, I was involved in shipping and delivering regular branch subscriptions, and it was a valuable experience to directly see how branches were delivered to customers' homes.

Nakanojo, with its many hot springs like Shima Onsen and Nakanojo Gardens connecting the nature of Gunma, truly feels like a "town of hot springs and flowers" with a vibrant natural vitality. I will do my best to convey the charm of the branches cultivated in this land!
