The Appeal of "Edamono" (Branches)
The greatest appeal of "edamono" (branches), in my opinion, is how beautifully they reflect the changing seasons of Japan.
The spring blossoms, summer greenery, autumn fruits and foliage, and winter evergreens all declare the arrival of a new season with their whole being, a sight that is truly endearing.
This is a unique charm of branches that cut flowers and houseplants do not possess.

This book introduces the broad appeal of branches, so that everyone from beginners to those who already incorporate branches into their daily lives can enjoy it.
The opening gravure features seasonal photos styled by myself, techniques for caring for and arranging branches, a seasonal branch guide with 64 varieties, and reports on visits to production areas.
