June Scent: A scent to banish the gloom of the rainy season

June means the rainy season. The humid air can easily make one feel gloomy just by imagining it, but the "pitter-patter" of rain is strangely comforting, and before you know it, you might find yourself "dozing off."

The June scent features a sweet and sensual aroma, subtly hidden behind the refreshing coolness of eucalyptus, that can induce drowsiness.

We use two different types of eucalyptus.

The first is "Eucalyptus globulus." Also known as "blue gum eucalyptus," it takes center stage with a sharp, refreshing sensation like a blowing wind.

The other, "Eucalyptus citriodora," is also known as "lemon eucalyptus" and has a hint of sweet fragrance within its tartness.

To complement the refreshing scent of eucalyptus, we've added elegant and comforting woody "frankincense" and sweet, sensual "ylang-ylang."

The rich, exotic scent extracted from ylang-ylang flowers, which bloom in tropical regions such as the Philippines and Indonesia, is a "bewitching fragrance" that dramatically changes the impression with just a tiny amount.

 

June Dried Flowers: Leaves moistened by raindrops

Similar to the scent, the dried flowers also use two types of eucalyptus.

The moist, blue-green leaves are "Eucalyptus nicolii." The bursting, raindrop-like fruits are "Eucalyptus exotica."

Finally, "Nigella orientalis," with its sweet flower language meaning "love in a dream," completes the coordination.
