[Seasonal Scent Subscription | May 2024] The fresh scent of new greenery and woody notes like a breeze through the trees

 

100% Natural Fragrance Water

As SiKiTO's first original fragrance, we were particular about using 100% natural ingredients.

While many common fragrance products add artificial fragrances to enhance the scent, "Seasonal Fragrance Subscription" uses no artificial fragrances whatsoever.

You can enjoy natural, gentle scents that accompany your life as you feel the changing seasons.

 

May Scent: A Pleasant Woody Fragrance

This is the first scent in the "Seasonal Fragrance Subscription" for May 2024.

After consulting with perfumers, we aimed for a woody scent suitable for the season of fresh greenery.

Among many tree-based essential oils, we chose "Hiba," a Japanese essential oil from Aomori Prefecture with a somewhat nostalgic scent, and "Kuromoji," another popular Japanese essential oil, as the main components (middle notes, the core scent).

Kuromoji, an indigenous Japanese species, is an aromatic wood that extracts a refreshing and subtly sweet fragrance. It is also used in gin and non-alcoholic drinks.

Next, for the top note (the initial scent), we combined "Tea Tree," which has a refreshing coolness that passes through the nose, even among woody scents.

The Aboriginal people of Australia, its place of origin, drank it as tea, and a lake in a valley where thousands of tea trees grow wild is said to be dyed red like black tea!

Finally, we added "Frankincense" as the middle and base notes (long-lasting scents).

Extracted from natural resin, such as solidified tree sap, its spicy and smoky scent gives the overall fragrance a mystical depth.

Its name is derived from the Old French "franc" (authentic) + "incense," and it is known as one of the gifts presented to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

These four essential oils are blended to create a refreshing and light fragrance perfect for the season of fresh greenery.

We hope you feel the pleasant sensation of walking through the trees.

 

May Dried Flowers: Vivid Fresh Greenery

The dried flowers for May come in two arrangements.

The beautiful silver-blue "Eryngium" (Japanese name: Matsukasa Azami) has flower meanings such as "hidden love" and "seeking light."

Its sharp, thorn-like appearance seems to protect a secret.

The bright green is "Ruscus" (Japanese name: Nagïkada). Its leaves have atrophied, and what appears to be leaves are actually modified branches.

Its flower meaning is "cheerfulness." Perfect for the mood of the fresh green season.
